The annual International Forum Digital Almaty 2023 was held in Almaty, in which Samruk-Kazyna Invest LLP took part.

Within the framework of the Forum, panel sessions were held with the participation of business communities of international countries and Kazakhstan. Saken Abilmazhinov, General Director of Samruk-Kazyna Invest LLP, took part in the Panel session “Variety of instruments for financing venture projects” as a speaker.

The moderator of the Panel session “Variety of instruments for financing venture projects” was Arslan Kudiyar, Deputy General Director of TechHub, also participating as speakers of this panel session were: Sergey Pirogov, Managing Partner of Invest Heroes, Max Gurwitz, Managing Partner of Vitosha Venture Partners, Yuri Rabinovich, Managing partner of VNTR Capital.

During the session, issues of financing tools for startup projects, advantages and limitations of Private Equity and Venture Capital, and what tools Private Equity and Venture Capital use were discussed.

Digital Almaty is a traditional dialogue platform for discussing the digital agenda, new digital transformation strategies and trends in the field of digital technologies. The forum is being held for the fifth time, starting in 2018.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akimat of Almaty, Tech Garden and Astana Hub.
